Sheikh Saleh Al-Arouri, deputy head of Hamas’ political bureau, affirmed that anyone who obstructs the path of the mujahideen serves the occupation. During a meeting with the families of the martyrs of the Fatah Security massacre in Sidon, Lebanon, Al-Arouri said Hamas is committed to its leadership’s decisions in a resistance-oriented policy that ensures the blood and sacrifices of martyrs are not in vain.
Al-Arouri conveyed condolences on behalf of Hamas’ leadership inside and outside to the families of the Burj al-Shamali massacre martyrs. He stated that no one can attack the movement and walk away unscathed, noting that there’s a proper time and method for everything, and rights will not be lost as long as there are those who demand them. Nothing will deter them from the path of jihad and resistance.
He added: We will not weaken nor grieve; no one scares us or turns us from our path. Many of our sons and leaders have been martyred, but this only increases our determination to continue.
Al-Arouri called on the Lebanese state to assume its responsibility and punish those behind the Burj al-Shamali crime. He emphasized that Hamas is the spearhead against the enemy and for the nation’s liberation of Palestine. He asserted the movement will remain on the path of resistance, and its leaders will stay committed to their principles for the liberation of all Palestine.
Al-Arouri said: Rest assured, the martyrs who fell by treacherous bullets are provided for by their Lord, as they left their homes in the cause of God and were met with martyrdom.
