A Palestinian was martyred by a direct strike from an Israeli drone near Wijdan camp in the Mawasi Khan Younis area, south of the Gaza Strip.
In a related development, occupation artillery shelled areas south of Khan Younis city, while Israeli tanks fired intensively toward the eastern areas of Deir al-Balah and al-Masdar village in the central Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said the death toll since the ceasefire on 11 October 2025 has risen to 1,408 martyrs, while the number of injuries reached 4,916.
