Israel's foreign ministry summoned Spain's chargé d'affaires in Tel Aviv to lodge an official protest and issue a reprimand, following remarks by Spanish Deputy Prime Minister and Labour Minister Yolanda Díaz.
Díaz had expressed her support for the establishment of a Palestinian state from the river to the sea.
