Several areas in the West Bank on Monday witnessed scattered attacks by settlers against residents and their property, including beatings, the theft of agricultural crops, damage to property, and restrictions on residents' access to their land.
In Sebastia, northwest of Nablus, settlers attacked resident Bilal Kayed (75) while he was on his land, beat him and poured boiling water on his body, injuring him and prompting his transfer to hospital for treatment.
In Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, settlers raided several areas, attacked residents' property and carried out provocative acts, and also erected an iron gate and cut and stole an electrical cable.
In the town of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, settlers attacked the home of resident Abdul Rahim Haj Muhammad (Abu Ayman), amid clashes that erupted between residents and settlers on the outskirts of the town.
Settlers also stole olive crops from the lands of the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah, and from the lands of Khirbet Masoud, south of Jenin, in attacks that hit residents' agricultural season.
Northwest of occupied Jerusalem, around 50 settlers, protected by Israeli occupation forces, raided the Ras area in the old town of the village of Al-Jib, an archaeological area, and prevented residents from reaching it.
