Areas in Nablus and Ramallah witnessed wide-ranging attacks carried out by settlers at dawn on Tuesday, targeting homes and vehicles and leaving an elderly woman injured.
The elderly woman was injured when settlers attacked residents following their assault on Palestinian homes in the village of Qaryut, south of Nablus.
In the village of Jalud, south of Nablus, a large number of settlers attacked the village and burned two homes belonging to the Tubasi family, after the family had been forced to leave them last July amid months of repeated harassment and attacks.
The burning of the two homes came hours after the occupation authorities allowed the family to return to them, following about two months of forced displacement, in implementation of an Israeli Supreme Court decision enabling them to recover their home.
Sources said occupation forces did not intervene to stop the settlers' attack, but provided them with protection during the assault.
In a related incident, settlers burned civilian vehicles during their attack on the outskirts of the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah.
