Israeli and settler attacks escalate in Ramallah and Nablus

Dozens suffocated from tear gas in al-Mughayyir, four youths were beaten in Beit Imrin, and a citizen was wounded in Sebastia.

Dozens of citizens suffocated on Sunday evening after inhaling tear gas during an incursion by Israeli occupation forces into the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah.

Local sources said the occupation forces fired tear gas canisters toward citizens' homes, causing dozens to suffocate.

Occupation forces and settlers continue their attacks on citizens' lands in the village, where the eastern plain area is being bulldozed and trees uprooted, alongside the opening of roads to facilitate settler movement in the area.

In Nablus, four youths were injured on Sunday evening after Israeli occupation forces beat them in the town of Beit Imrin, northwest of the city.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society said its crews treated four youths who were beaten by the occupation forces and transported them to hospital for treatment.

Settlers also stormed the northern part of the town and attacked citizens while they were picking olives, beating them.

Earlier on Sunday evening, a citizen sustained bruises and wounds after settlers beat him in the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus.
