Israeli Raids and Gunfire Across West Bank Towns

Israeli occupation forces continue to storm towns and villages across the West Bank, firing live ammunition, raiding homes and restricting movement, amid settler attacks in several areas.

Israeli occupation forces continued on Tuesday to storm a number of towns and villages across the West Bank, firing live ammunition, raiding homes and imposing restrictions on residents’ movement, amid attacks carried out by settlers in some areas.

In Jenin governorate, Israeli forces continued to storm the village of Marka, southwest of the city, where they raided several homes while a foot patrol deployed inside the village. Forces also stormed the “Harsh al-Sa’ada” area in Jenin city, firing live ammunition during the operation. The incursions extended to the town of Arraba, southwest of Jenin, where forces raided several homes, and to the village of Arabuna, northeast of the city.

In Tubas governorate, Israeli forces stormed the city and raided a home during the operation.

West of Ramallah, Israeli forces fired live ammunition at the “al-Mahallal” checkpoint and halted vehicle movement through it. The town of Silwad, northeast of Ramallah, witnessed an incursion by Israeli forces following a settler attack on the town’s outskirts, which was confronted by local youths. During the events in Silwad, Israeli forces fired live ammunition and sound bombs alongside the settlers’ attack on the town. The incursions also extended to the village of Deir Abu Mash’al, northwest of Ramallah.

In Nablus, Israeli forces closed the gate of the town of al-Sawiya, south of the city, restricting residents’ movement.

Further south, Israeli forces stormed the town of Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem, with their vehicles moving continuously inside the town during the operation. Israeli forces also stormed the city of Hebron, in the southern West Bank.
