A man in his thirties was killed on Friday by Israeli police gunfire in the city of Nazareth in the occupied interior, after being transferred to hospital in critical condition.
The man was wounded by a gunshot that penetrated his body. Medical teams performed resuscitation efforts at the scene before he was rushed to the English Hospital in Nazareth for treatment.
The medical team at the hospital pronounced the man dead from his injuries.
The incident comes amid escalating violence and crime in the Arab community in the occupied interior, and amid ongoing criticism of Israeli police performance in confronting crime and pursuing perpetrators.
