Data published by the Prisoners' Media Office showed that the file of prisoners from the Gaza Strip continues to reveal large numbers of detainees, martyrs and bodies, amid the ongoing repercussions of the war.
According to the office, the number of prisoners released under the exchange deal reached 2,724, while 794 prisoners were released after the end of the "Tufan al-Ahrar" deal.
It pointed to the handover of 930 bodies without identification lists, explaining that part of these bodies were handed over before the "Tufan al-Ahrar" deal, while the number of detainees classified by the occupation as "unlawful combatants" reached 1,393.
The Prisoners' Media Office added that 53 prisoners of known identity died as martyrs in detention, while 80 prisoners are still held from before the war, including 43 prisoners who have completed their sentences.
These figures reflect the scale of the tragedy facing prisoners from the Gaza Strip, especially amid the continued detention of prisoners and the unknown fate of a number of prisoners who died in detention.
