Amnesty criticises rise in French military exports to Israel

Amnesty International criticises the increase in the value of French military exports to the Israeli occupation during 2025, warning that continued exports raise concerns over ongoing support, as French unions reveal a shipment of mechanical components bound for an Israeli arms company.

Amnesty International has criticised the rise in the value of French military exports to the Israeli occupation during 2025, warning that the continued export of military equipment raises concerns about ongoing support for the occupation and calling on Paris not to be complicit with it.

The value of French military exports to the occupation rose from 16.1 million euros in 2024 to 19.8 million euros in 2025, according to export data, reflecting an increase in their value over the past year.

In a related development, French unions revealed a shipment of mechanical components destined for an Israeli arms company, which was due to be transported to Tel Aviv on a flight operated by Air France.

These developments come amid demands to halt the export of military equipment that could contribute to violations against Palestinians, and to ensure France fulfils its international legal obligations.
