The Palestinian information centre "Mata" documented 18,405 violations committed by Israeli occupation forces and settlers in occupied Jerusalem between 7 October 2023 and 7 October 2026, coinciding with the passing of three years since the start of the war of extermination on the Gaza Strip.
In a new statistical report, the centre said the violations included killing, injury, arrest, incursions, home demolitions and property confiscation, alongside settlement attacks and restrictions imposed on residents.
According to the report, the violations resulted in the killing of 79 citizens and the injury of 869 others, while the centre recorded 1,029 shooting incidents and 208 cases of firing gas and sound bombs.
On arrests, occupation forces detained 2,877 citizens and held 417 others, issued 296 deportation orders, while the report documented 2,700 incursions and 5,144 cases of restrictions at checkpoints.
On demolitions and settlement activity, occupation forces demolished 489 homes and carried out 140 settlement activities, while the report recorded 481 direct attacks by settlers, along with the destruction of 810 properties and the confiscation of 198 others.
The report noted that the violations also targeted professional groups, documenting 27 violations against journalists and 11 violations against medical personnel during the same period.
