Gaza: Four Civilian Employees Killed in Al-Mawasi Strike

Gaza's Government Media Office condemns an Israeli massacre of civilian employees in Al-Mawasi that killed four staff and injured more than 30, six of them critically.

The Government Media Office condemned the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation army against civilian government employees in the Al-Mawasi area in the southern Gaza Strip yesterday, which resulted in the killing of four employees and the injury of more than 30 others, including more than six in critical condition.

In a press statement, the office said the shelling targeted a workplace belonging to the Ministry of Economy while employees were carrying out their duties inspecting goods, verifying their validity and preventing the smuggling of narcotics and illegal materials.

It explained that the targeted employees were performing their functional and service duties, stressing that targeting civilian government crews undermines the work of institutions and threatens their ability to provide services to citizens.

The office mourned the four victims: Hammam Jabr Abu Lubda, Mahmoud Subhi Abu Nima, Mohammed Hamad Al-Sultan and Wissam Azzat Adwan.

The Government Media Office held the occupation and its supporting countries responsible for the massacre, demanding that mediators and the countries sponsoring the agreement intervene urgently to stop the ongoing Israeli attacks.

It also called on the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza to take a decisive stance to protect government employees and ensure they continue performing their duties toward the Palestinian people.
