The Jerusalem Governorate's monthly report documents the martyrdom of a young man, the detention of 102 citizens and 44 demolition and leveling operations, and 6,176 settlers raiding Al-Aqsa in October.

The Jerusalem Governorate said that one citizen was martyred, Israeli occupation forces detained 102 citizens, and 44 demolition and leveling operations were carried out during last October, while 6,176 settlers raided the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the occupation authorities issued 12 expulsion orders, most of them concerning the mosque.

In its monthly report on occupation crimes in Jerusalem, issued Monday, the governorate stated that the martyr is Baha Sami Amin al-Natsheh, 19, from the town of Kafr Aqab, who was martyred on 2 October after succumbing to wounds from settlers' gunfire in the town of Kobar, north of Ramallah, while he was in his family's farm.

Regarding Al-Aqsa Mosque, the report recorded 6,176 settlers raiding the mosque, alongside 8,885 others entering under the cover of tourism, protected by occupation forces. It noted an escalation in the open performance of Talmudic rituals, including congregational prayers, chants, dancing and prostration, and the raising of the occupation flag in front of the Dome of the Rock, in addition to the raid on the mosque by extremist Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, accompanied by Knesset member Moshe Feiglin, on 26 October.

It noted that 19 injuries were recorded among citizens due to attacks by occupation forces and settlers, including shootings, beatings and inhalation of tear gas, while settler attacks amounted to 56, including five cases of physical assault, one of which led to the martyrdom of al-Natsheh.

On detentions, the governorate documented the detention of 102 citizens, including 6 women and 3 children, along with the issuance of 12 expulsion orders, 10 of them from Al-Aqsa Mosque, with durations ranging between one week and six months. It also recorded 20 orders and rulings against Jerusalemite prisoners, including 3 actual prison sentences, 17 administrative detention orders and 4 house arrest orders.

Regarding demolitions, the report recorded 44 operations, including 13 self-demolitions that the occupation forced citizens to carry out and 29 demolitions carried out by its machinery, in addition to two land leveling operations. The demolitions targeted houses, residential apartments and buildings in several towns of the governorate and displaced dozens of citizens.

The governorate also documented the issuance of 41 notices and orders, including 40 demolition and construction halt orders and one evacuation order, targeting homes and facilities in the towns of Al-Tur, Al-Issawiya, Anata, Silwan, Hizma and the village of Qalandiya.

On settlement, the report recorded 11 settlement plans, projects and activities, including the deposit of two plans on an area of 22,420 dunums, the approval of three plans including the establishment of 475 settlement units on an area of 14,501 dunums, and the offering of four tenders for the construction of 1,629 settlement units in the settlements of Pisgat Ze'ev, Givat Hamatos, Gilo and Ma'ale Adumim.

The report pointed to the continued targeting of religious, educational and municipal institutions through detentions, expulsions, raids and restrictions on their employees, alongside the targeting of Jerusalemite prisoners and released detainees, amid ongoing medical neglect and poor detention conditions inside prisons.
