Israeli occupation forces detained a Palestinian citizen after he confronted an attempt by settlers to attack residents' lands and crops in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, while other areas of the city witnessed incursions, raids and attacks targeting residents and traders.
In the Huwara area east of Yatta, settlers drove their livestock into Palestinian fields and among the fruit trees, prompting citizen Khalil Mahmoud al-Hamamdeh and his son Omar to try to confront them, before occupation forces stormed the area and detained al-Hamamdeh.
In Hebron, occupation forces stormed the Jabal Jawhar and Jabal al-Rahma areas, raided and searched two homes and damaged their contents, before seizing one of the homes and converting it into a military barracks.
Occupation forces also attacked citizens and traders while they were in the livestock market, held weekly in the southern part of the city, and fired toxic gas canisters at them in an attempt to disperse them.
